Double Edit: I actually had a very amusing paragraph of rantage for all the un-named 'japanese friends' who found the absense of an 'a' on 'Okaasan' deeply disturbing...but somehow it seemed a little bit too offensive (it was still funny dammit, best thing I've written in years).
Instead I'll just let your 'japanese friends' writhe in agony over my ignorance. Yea :3

Uhm, a bit about this chibi actually, there was a strange idea drifting behind the huge goo eyes.
Originally it wasn't a chibi nor was it a Cloudette, but the concept was the same. Unfortunately I couldn't get myself to scan my sketchbook so I redrew it on computer instead.
The idea of 'Mommy' squeeking dolls came from the really old disney cartoons where, for some reason, whenever a doll is abused or sqeezed in some way, they seem to always cry "MOMMY!!" in a high squeeky voice. Here I went for "Okasan!!" Since it seemed more fitting when it relates to Sephiroth or his Clones (kadaj and co., the SHMs)
As for Sephiroth's mouth, only the players of the old FF7 would understand this. The polygonal Sephiroth ALWAYS had the same open diamond shaped mouth expression, and thus it was drawn as well XD

Cloudette was for everyone's amusement really :'D Those pigtails I can never get over.
