One of my extremely belated commissioned works x_X

Fanart of Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, Albert & Franz.
I've actually never watched this though...it seems really interesting, the reviews are all really good, and it's sorta BL (haha)

I might try it someday when I'm really bored :<

Tried something a little different this time round in regards to colouration since it felt wrong colouring these characters the normal way >_> The entire aesthetic of the show seemed to be pattern layering and it seemed like a good opportunity to play around :'D

To my commissioner, this is also why the lineart was redrawn x_X I liked the interaction for the first version more but..the style became too outdated for me and it didn't have enough surface area :'D Also didn't really know how else to crop that image into a shape I feel comfortable with so yea >___<;


Anyhoo hope you all enjoy;;;;;;


Oh and final note, yes Franz's hand has disappeared into olivion X'D I know it is.
Just imagine it in a shape that is conveniently hidden by that arm. No it doesn't really have to make sense (when have my hand placement ever made sense?) and be glad that he doesn't have 6 fingers (....like last time *depresses*)

Wow, this picture is AMAZING! :wow: You really captured the colorful, kaleidoscopic features that were in Gankutsuou spot-on. The characters look adorable (just like the rest of your awesome works), and the picture as a whole blended together very tastefully. This is probably my favorite of your drawings.
