's (aka ~preciousflame) Phoenix spirit character Mae. Yet another Gaia Auction picture, originally it was suppose to be a 2/3 body + simple bg picture, or a full body with no bg...But instead I ended up drawing a 4/5ish sketch and couldn't think up a background ==;

Random korean characters basically make out the sound of 'Mae', and is there purely for pretentious and aesthetic reasons, since chinese characters tended to clutter, and Japanese characters are too cutesy. Too much English tended to ruin my happy mildly- rice papery grain texture :'D

Again tried to keep away from over painting ._. I seem to find less reason to despise my work when much of the skeletons are still showing. The smoke is actually blown out of her mouth along with the puffs of glowing ashes, but it's kind of hard to tell since the pinkish smoke fades too much over blonde hair. Since *kheleksul's awesome entry had her all firey and cool, I was really trying to refrain from doing anything firey else there be too much to compare over X'D;;;; (A comparison I'm sure would hurt a lot considering how freaktastically good she is at colouring. Khel, what the bloody hell is wrong with you XD!?!?!?)

In the end I'm kind of...left with mixed feelings >_O There are somethings I wish I could have done but my computer started lagging really painfully (I NEED MORE RAM ;^;!!!) and I really didn't want to shrink the drawing just to cater for it >_O
Oh and semi-transparent, dotty brushes ftw~ 8D They're...so nice to fill space with X'D;
