No, seriously.

Cover for a novel for one of my table-mates. It didn't turn out too well due to it getting to the printers at a very bad time but...oh wells.

I was told to draw in a style that's very reminiscent of CLAMP's Card Captor Sakura, for a story about suicides, shinnigamis and reapers of the future using the souls of the past for energy fuel while dressed in japanese trends (thus the lolita. Apparently the boss of shinnigamis is dressed like a samurai and enjoys sake).

The little chibi girl is Himawari, the death reaper. White dressed, rather sad looking girl is the main character who committed suicide and ended up merging with chibi girl in an accident. White haired girl is their transformed reaper form, all busty and lolita fied with supposedly a zillion outfits like Sakura.

Yea. I'll leave you to digest all this.
Shoujo style hurts me, physically AND mentally.
I even consulted my shoujo bible (aka CLAMP art book) which only make me realise how un-shiny I colour.
